SUBANG JAYA: Taylorians have learned how to preserve nature and create aroma stones during the Father’s Day Special Aroma Stone Workshop, organised by Taylor’s Nature Club.

The club’s director of events and project team, Tan Zi Yi said the workshop was beneficial for the participants because it helped them to relieve their stress through creating aroma stones.

“It's important to let them know they can relax, relieve their stress and also connect with nature in different ways,” she said in an interview during the event on 16 June.

The event was held in collaboration with Moonrise Workshop.

One of the participants, Noor Syazwina binti Mohd Razi, said she planned to give the aroma stone to her father for Father’s Day.

“I'm planning to put jasmine pear because it is known to be relaxing and soothing so that my father can hang it in his car,” added the 20-year-old Diploma in Interior Design student.

Noor Syazwina said she enjoyed pouring the clay into the mould and decorating it with flowers and putting essential oils in it.

Another participant ,Tan Yee Min, stated that she decided to participate in this event after finding out about aroma stones last year and hence has been interested in it.

“The part which was really enjoyable for me was the part of mixing the clay with colours that I wanted and decorating it with dry flowers,” added the 22-year-old Bachelor of Law student.

Most importantly, Yee Min added that she was able to learn how to preserve nature by participating in this workshop.
